Job summary

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee seeks a skilled pastry/bakery professional to join our luxury team. You will prepare a wide range of pastries and desserts, following strict hotel standards and presentation guidelines, supporting banquet, restaurant, room service, and catering dessert production.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of pastry or culinary experience in a fast-paced hotel or resort environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary or Pastry Arts degree/certificate preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of pastry, baking, or culinary experience required.
• Previous hotel, resort, banquet, fine dining, or high-volume food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, cakes, cookies, and specialty items.
• Follow standardized recipes and hotel presentation standards.
• Assist with banquet, restaurant, room service, and catering dessert production.
• Ensure all pastries and desserts meet hotel quality, taste, and appearance expectations.
• Maintain consistency across all outlets and events.

What you will be doing
