American Place Casino is seeking a Main Banker to manage the casino's main bank, process cash transactions, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will issue receipts, handle markers and payouts, exchange chips, and maintain accurate cash inventories while supporting cage operations.

The role requires 1 year of cash handling, basic math, strong computer skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Bilingual abilities are a plus, and tuition reimbursement plus PTO are part of the benefits

Who WE are looking for:

As a Main Banker, you oversee the financial operations of the casino's main bank. Your responsibilities include managing funds, processing transactions like currency exchanges and check cashing, and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations. Additionally, you will enter markers, fills, and credit slips into the computer system accurately. Your role is essential in maintaining financial integrity and ensuring smooth casino operations.

What is expected of YOU:

As a Main Banker, your main focus is on delivering exceptional guest service while handling the accurate processing of guest and company funds alongside other cage personnel. You'll carefully manage transactions and paperwork to comply with gaming regulations, laws, and company policies. This includes issuing receipts for markers, payouts, and other transactions, as well as exchanging chips, cashing checks, and processing markers. You'll also oversee cash intake in count room areas, ensuring precise counting and verification. Tasks like preparing and balancing NRT machines, replenishing them with currency and tickets, and fulfilling all cashiering duties are part of your role. Beyond these, you'll audit fill traffic documentation, manage guest credit information, maintain the bank balance, safeguard cage assets, process deposits, assist with training, address guest inquiries, provide promotional advice, and handle any other duties assigned to ensure efficient casino operations.

Experience YOU will need:

• High School/GED preferred
• Minimum of 1 year cash handling in a high volume environment.
• Ability to handle high volume and stress situations.
• Basic math skills with knowledge of currency
• Ability to handle high volume and stressful situations
• Proficiencyin Excel and/or Google Docs
• Computer and typing skills
• Bilingual a Plus ( Preferred)

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently speak, read, write, stand, walk, bend and stoop
• Able to push, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.
