The Rose Gaming Resort is a $480 million gaming and entertainment complex destination located alongside I-95 in Dumfries, Virginia. Job Summary

Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the vault. Maintain tracking of coin and currency for cage, vaults on approved logs. Count and verify all cash/coin/ticket transactions in all cage areas and assist the cage supervisor with all transactions within the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Always maintain adequate levels of coin/currency in the Cashiers’ Cage.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Communicate effectively with co‑workers, supervisors and guests.
• Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
• Ensure floor locations are adequately impressed (automated Currency Transaction Kiosks and automated Jackpot machines).
• Verify that coin shipments and currency bank deposits are prepared accurately and timely.
• Ensure that contents of the vault are organized for shift change count.
• Prepare and complete all job‑related paperwork (cash count sheets, coin transfers, bank summary sheets, check disbursements for jackpot payout, and other value items).
• Complete currency transaction reports as required by law.
• Reconcile inventories at end of assigned shift (F&B cashier, coin cashier, HRM attendant and others).
• Forward end‑of‑shift and end‑of‑day paperwork to accounting and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Reconcile automated jackpot machines as required.
• Safeguard assigned cash drawer and casino assets.
• Count and verify all transactions in cage at beginning and end of shift.
• Make change and exchange tickets/cash.
• Maintain jet‑sort equipment by clearing coin jams and changing coin bags.
• Maintain accurate cage cash transmittal forms and other paperwork.
• Maintain confidentiality of casino operations data.
• Always follow the company service standards model.
• Work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends as necessary.
• Be available for regularly scheduled work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
• Obtain and retain required license(s).
• Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter, drink alcohol, or purchase tobacco in gambling areas.
• Have knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the department.
• Have knowledge of the property’s programs to address problem gaming.
• Report any acts of wrongdoing.

Education and Experience

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma.
• At least two years as a cashier or bank teller.
• Proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

• Virginia Racing Commission License.
• Valid driver’s license with a minimum of three years of driving experience.
