Job summary

Mittera's Lettershop department seeks a Lettershop Assistant to perform manual tasks and operate small mailing machines in a fast-paced environment. You will follow departmental regulations to process customer jobs on time and within quality standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with setup, loading, running, and quality checks of mailing equipment; reading job tickets and specs; maintaining a clean work area; and supporting quality programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists inserter and inkjet operator set-up, loads machine, runs the machine, ensures job quality and follows postal sorts.
• Reads and understands job tickets, layout sheets, artwork and specifications before starting.
• Sets up, operates, adjusts and troubleshoots equipment in mailing operations.
• Cleans work area and maintains quality control to meet job demands.
• Supports quality programs and follows department procedures.
