Job summary

Clean-Tech Company is seeking a hands-on Mailroom Specialist in Michigan to manage daily mail operations, parcel processing, and interoffice deliveries across Grand Rapids facilities. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and physical stamina in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle mail pickup, sorting, postage, and package tracking, while coordinating with multiple sites. A high school diploma is preferred, and a background check may be required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Daily pick up mail from the Ada Post Office.
• Daily deliver certified mail to the Ada Post Office.
• Reading of unidentifiable mail and directing to correct location.
• Operating a mail meter and applying postage.
• Preparing outbound mail for presort.
• Mail sorting and delivery to all locations on Fulton Street complex and related sites in Grand Rapids.
• Pickup of internal material requisitions and delivery to locations in Grand Rapids.
• Receipt and entering of UPS, FedEx, and OHL packages into UPS TrackPad for internal tracking.
• Delivery of packages to locations on the complex and related sites.
• Processing of certified mail.
• Prepare mail to Kent Communications for postage and sending.
• Weekly pouching of interoffice mail to affiliates and service centers.
• Movement of packages via Courier Request between departments.

Job Skills / Requirements

Job Duties is as follow:

• Daily pick up mail from the Ada Post Office.
• Daily deliver certified mail to the Ada Post Office.
• Reading of unidentifiable mail (and directing to correct location)
• Operating a mail meter and applying postage
• Preparing outbound mail for presort
• Mail sorting and delivery to all locations on Fulton Street complex, Spaulding, and owned businesses of the Van Andel and DeVos families in Grand Rapids.
• Pick up of Internal Material Requisitions (IMRs) from MWRSC and delivery to all locations on complex, Spaulding, and family owned business in Grand Rapids.
• Receipt and entering of UPS, FedEx, and OHL packages into UPS TrackPad for internal tracking.
• Delivery of UPS, FedEx, and OHL packages to all locations on complex, Spaulding, and family owned businesses in Grand Rapids.
• Processing of certified mail.
• Prepare mail to go to Kent Communications ("KCI") to have postage applied and be sent out.
• Weekly pouching of interoffice mail to affiliates and service centers.
• Movement of packages via Courier Request from department to department on complex, Spaulding, and family owned businesses in Grand Rapids.

Experience:

Physical and Working Conditions

Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull.

Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs

.Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company

.Ability to work with various temperatures extreme from hot to cold
