Job summary

Mittera is seeking a Mailing Operator in Florida to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain mailing equipment, and to prepare mailings in accordance with postal regulations.

You will run various mailing machines, sort mail per rules, train team members, promote safety, and help improve operations. Qualifications

• 1–3+ years mailing operator experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable of mailing and equipment setup and maintenance procedures.
• Effective communications skills with all levels within the organization.
• Has basic computer skills.
• Must be self-motivated, reliable, quality, and safety oriented.
• The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Operate various mailing machines.
• Sort and tray mail according to postal regulations.
• Responsible for ongoing training and development of team.
• Promote, enforce and sustain safety and look for ways to improve the operation.
• Facilitate teamwork on crews and between shifts.
• Ensure good housekeeping practices are followed.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
