Job summary

RRD is seeking a hands-on operator to run and adjust packaging machinery for printed publications. You will weigh, address, and tie bundles for mailing, following job instructions and maintaining quality standards.

The role includes recording production data and downtime, and processing shipments with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL. The D shift carries a $3.00 differential and runs Saturday to Monday, 5 PM to 5 AM.

Qualifications

• Operate and monitor packaging machinery per job instructions.
• Perform routine adjustments to equipment as required.
• Maintain consistent production quality and document results.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines that address, weigh, and tie publications for mailing.
• Review instructions to determine publication type and size for mailing.
• Make adjustments to guides, rollers, inserter, weighing machine, and tying arm.
• Record production data by customer name and zip code; log downtime.
• Process and ship outgoing small parcels (UPS, FedEx, DHL).
