Job summary

ManpowerGroup is assisting a printing and mailing services client in Chesapeake, VA, to hire a Printer Production Associate for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift on a temporary basis.

You will operate printing, inserting, labeling, and sorting machines, handle mail insertion and packaging, and support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required, with ability to lift 20–50 lbs and stand most of the shift.

Our client, a leader in the printing and mailing services industry, is seeking a Printer Production Associate to join their team. As a Printer Production Associate, you will be part of the production department supporting operational excellence and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Printer Production Associate

Location: Chesapeake, VA

Pay Range: $18.00 and up

What's the Job?

• Operate printing, inserting, labeling, and sorting machines for various materials such as statements, health insurance cards, and loyalty cards.
• Manually insert documents/forms into envelopes, affix tags to plastic carriers, and stuff mail into expedited mailing packages.
• Operate presorting machines to sort and separate damaged mail, requesting reprints when necessary.
• Place sorted mail into bins for delivery to the post office, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to improve productivity, safety, security, and quality standards, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?

• Basic computer skills, including data entry and PC navigation.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to stand for 95% of your shift and lift between 20 to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
