Job summary

MedImpact is seeking a Mail Order Pharmacist to manage accessibility, quality, and cost-effectiveness of drug therapy for members. The role focuses on initiating and supporting cost-effective, rational therapies while coordinating with a team of pharmacy technicians and warehouse staff.

PharmD with 3+ years of experience, Nebraska license in good standing, and proficiency in Windows/Microsoft Office are required. The position is on-site in Fremont, NE with standard hours.

Qualifications

• PharmD and 3+ years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be currently licensed with the Nebraska Board of Pharmacy in good standing.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and use Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense prescriptions in Mail Order setting.
• Communicate with patients, providers, or pharmacies regarding prescriptions.
• Transfer prescriptions to/from other pharmacies.
• Research drug literature to provide clinical recommendations as needed.
• Counsel patients on medication usage and answer drug-related questions.
