Job summary

CenterWell Pharmacy in Ohio is seeking a Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 1 to accurately fill and count medications, and to support inventory management and customer service. The role emphasizes adherence to policy, quality standards, and working with the inventory team to ensure dispensable stock.

Onsite position with a 10-hour shift, Monday to Friday. Certification support and training are provided, with benefits typical of Humana/CenterWell careers.

Qualifications

• Must have an active pharmacy technician license with the Board of Pharmacy in Ohio.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician OR call center experience in a pharmacy or any factory/warehouse setting.
• Problem solver who can find viable solutions that meets business needs, absent from all ideal tools and resources.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Moderate working knowledge of Excel.

Job Description Summary

The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 1 accurately fills and counts medications. The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 1 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments.

Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 1 ensures inventory levels are adequate for dispensing by working with inventory supply team. Decisions are typically focused on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. This role works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction.

$1,500 Sign-On Bonus

$750 upon hire and a second $750 payment after completing 6 months (180 days) of employment

Work Hours

10-hour shift Monday-Friday (Will have one (1) day off during the week) between the hours of 6 a.m.-4:30 p.m. EST (Based on business need). Overtime (Can include weekends) based on business needs

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
