Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 1 to accurately fill and count medications, support operations, and assist with customer service tasks. You will ensure inventory levels with the supply team and operate under defined policies with some prioritization latitude.

The role offers a 40-hour week, benefits, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus with payments after hire and after six months of employment. This onsite position is located at Park75 Union Center in West Chester, OH.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Ohio Board of Pharmacy license.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a pharmacy call center/warehouse setting.
• Problem solver who can find viable solutions to business needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Moderate working knowledge of Excel.

Job Description Summary

The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 1 accurately fills and counts medications. The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 1 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 1 ensures inventory levels are adequate for dispensing by working with inventory supply team. Decisions are typically focused on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. This role works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction.

$1,500 Sign-On Bonus ($750 upon hire and a second $750 payment after completing 6 months (180 days) of employment)

Work Hours: 10-hour shift Monday-Friday (Will have one (1) day off during the week) between the hours of 6 a.m.-4:30 p.m. EST (Based on business need). Overtime (Can include weekends) based on business needs

Required Qualifications

• Must have an active pharmacy technician license with the Board of Pharmacy in Ohio
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician OR call center experience in a pharmacy or any factory/warehouse setting
• Problem solver who can find viable solutions that meets business needs, absent from all ideal tools and resources
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Moderate working knowledge of Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmacy dispensing
• Critical thinker who can anticipate business needs and take initiative, ask the right questions and deliver the highest quality customer experience

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
