Job summary

Immediate Mailing Services, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Specialist (Courier) in Rochester, NY to safely transport materials and ensure on-time deliveries across company locations and customer sites.

The role requires a valid NYS driver’s license, 2+ years of driving/delivery experience, and knowledge of DOT regulations. Expect weekly pay, a fast-paced environment, and growth opportunities within logistics and coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid NYS driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• CDL may be required based on vehicle type.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional driving, delivery, or transportation experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to operate delivery vehicles and basic material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, products, and equipment.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules, adjusting as needed to ensure timely service.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle maintenance or safety concerns.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company transportation policies at all times.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload shipments in a safe and efficient manner.
• Communicate with supervisors or dispatch regarding delays, delivery issues, or route changes.
• Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate transportation records and prepare required reports.
