Job summary

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, a CDS route provider for the United States Postal Service, is hiring a Rural Mail Carrier in Watford City, ND. You will sort and deliver mail on a daily route, work day shifts, and must provide your own vehicle to meet USPS requirements.

The position pays $27.00 per hour plus vehicle reimbursement. Requires 19+ years old, ND driver's license, ability to lift 70 lbs, and residence in the area; full- and part-time options, with Saturday work.

Job description

Now Hiring - USPS CDS Rural Mail Carrier

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, with offices in 20 states, is currently seeking applicants to deliver mail on a CDS mail route solicited and posted by the USPS in the Watford City, ND area.

Applicants must be at least 19 years of age with a valid North Dakota driver's license; able to lift 70 lbs., able to work in all types of weather conditions and must reside in the area.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle
• Delivering mail along an assigned mile line-of-travel
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Other administrative duties are required
• MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN VEHICHLE*

Minimum Vehicle and Insurance Requirements:

• Applicant must furnish vehicle, which meets postal regulations, and meet postal driving requirements
• One Dependable vehicle that provides 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels. (Mini-Van, SUV, Truck with Camper Shell)
• $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle
• The applicant is responsible for all the vehicle maintenance, fuel and insurance cost
• Vehicle Reimbursement paid on top of hourly pay.

Employment Details: Immediate start date

• Hours: Day Shift - Now hiring for full and part time. Part time will generally be two days per week. Requires at least two Saturdays per month
  • 8:00am – 2:00pm* *End time will vary as we work until all mail and parcels have been delivered.
• Pay: $27.00**/hour PLUS vehicle reimbursement
  • *Start and End time may vary
  • **Straight time, Health & Welfare, Holiday and Vehicle Reimbursement paid out hourly. (Benefits paid as cash equivalency up to the maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act.) Rate of Pay and cash equivalent benefits exceed the requirements set by the Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division.

Must be able to pass a drug test and have a criminal background history that meets the USPS standards. TNStumpff Enterprises participates in the E-Verify program.
