Job summary

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, is hiring for a CDS Rural Mail Carrier in Max, ND. Must have a valid North Dakota driver’s license, be at least 18, and reside in the area. You will sort and load mail for an 167-box route, deliver along a 155-mile line, and handle parcels as needed.

Starting pay is $26.10 per hour with a daily vehicle reimbursement of $90.37. Must provide your own vehicle meeting postal regulations; be able to lift 70 lbs and work in all weather. Employment begins ASAP.

• Must pass a drug test and have a criminal background history that meets USPS standards.

Job description

Now Hiring - USPS CDS Rural Mail Carrier

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, with offices in 20 states, is currently seeking applicants to deliver mail on a CDS mail route solicited and posted by the USPS in the Max, ND area.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid North Dakota driver's license; able to lift 70 lbs., able to work in all types of weather conditions and must reside in the area.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 167 active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle.
• Delivering mail along an assigned 155-mile line-of-travel.
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Other administrative duties are required.

*MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN VEHICHLE*

Minimum Vehicle and Insurance Requirements:

• Applicant must furnish vehicle, which meets postal regulations, and meet postal driving requirements.
• One Dependable vehicle that provides 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels. (Mini-Van, SUV, Truck with Camper Shell)
• $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle
• The applicant is responsible for all the vehicle maintenance, fuel and insurance cost.
• Vehicle Reimbursement paid on top of hourly pay.

Employment Begins: ASAP

• Hours: Day Shift - Work week is Monday - Saturday. Hiring for Full and Part time.
  • 7:45am – 3:15pm* End time will vary based on completion of route and delivery of all mail and parcels.
• Pay: $26.10**/hour PLUS vehicle reimbursement ($90.37/day non-taxable reimbursement)
  • *Start and End time may vary.
  • **Straight time, Health & Welfare, Holiday and Vehicle Reimbursement paid out hourly. (Benefits paid as cash equivalency up to the maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act.) Rate of Pay and cash equivalent benefits exceed the requirements set by the Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division.
