Job summary

Dexter Magnetic Technologies, through its Magnetic Component Engineering (MCE) unit in Torrance, CA, seeks an assembler to magnetize, demagnetize and assemble a range of products with minimal supervision.

The role includes reading detailed prints, training others, leading a small team, and ensuring quality and safety; the work environment is fast-paced in a clean production area with standard shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years’ experience assembling products or following processes.
• Able to read and follow detailed prints and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to detailed specs and customer requirements.
• Magnetize, demagnetize and assemble components with minimal supervision.
• Train other assemblers and provide first piece approval as needed.
• Lead and work with an assembly team on complex, high‑volume products.
