The Magnet Coordinator at Dodge Magnet Middle School within Tucson Unified School District coordinates activities and services to enhance the magnet program. This role includes facilitating site-based professional development, leading PLC/CTT sessions, and coaching instructional staff on theme integration.
Responsibilities also include collecting and analyzing data for the magnet plan, planning recruitment events, and developing a marketing plan to promote the magnet site and support growth.
This position coordinates the activities and services to enhance the magnet program at the assigned site. The Magnet Coordinator will conduct professional development related to theme-integrated Tier 1 instruction, including the facilitation of site-based PD and PLC/CTT, as well as instructional coaching around theme integration. The Magnet Coordinator will collect and analyze data related to the site magnet plan, plan and conduct recruitment events, and develop a marketing plan for the magnet site to support the success and growth of the site's magnet program.
Effective: 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
Location: Dodge Magnet Middle School - Pima & Craycroft Area
FTE: 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
