Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process Development: Design and develop manufacturing processes for magnetic materials and components.
  • Optimization: Improve processes to boost productivity and reduce waste.
  • Quality Control: Establish and maintain rigorous QC procedures to meet standards.
  • Collaboration: Work with R&D, product development, and QA to integrate new products.
  • Equipment Management: Select, install, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed process and QC documentation.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure activities comply with safety regulations and policies.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Magnet Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development, optimization, and scaling of our magnet manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, materials science, and magnetics, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and sustainability. This role involves designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to produce high-performance magnetic materials and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Development: Design and develop manufacturing processes for producing magnetic materials and components, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
  • Optimization: Continuously improve manufacturing processes by identifying and implementing enhancements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and ensure product consistency.
  • Quality Control: Establish and maintain rigorous quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet or exceed industry standards and meet customer specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product development, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of new products into the manufacturing process.
  • Equipment Management: Select, install, and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and safely.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, procedures, and quality control standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve manufacturing issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the magnetics or advanced materials industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in manufacturing process design and optimization.
    • Strong knowledge of magnetic materials and their manufacturing techniques.
    • Experience with manufacturing equipment selection, installation, and maintenance.
    • Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards.
    • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
