Casa Bonita Denver seeks a Magician to engage guests through wandering and close-up magic, enhancing the immersive entertainment experience with memorable performances.

Responsibilities include welcoming guests, managing props, and performing sleight-of-hand tricks across roaming and fixed venues, adapting to audiences. Must be 18+, fluent in English, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable form of transportation and be able to work flexible shifts, inclusive of weekends, days, late nights, and holidays.
• Regular and dependable attendance is an essential function of this position.
• This availability is an essential function of the role for Thursday, Friday, Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings.

• Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by Entertainment leadership based on business needs.

What You’ll Do:

At Casa Bonita, every team member plays a vital role in creating memorable dining and entertainment experiences for our guests. The Magician engages guests through wandering and close-up magic. The performances will enhance the immersive entertainment environment, ensuring guests leave with lasting memories.

• This position requires consistent availability for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening shifts, as well as Sunday morning shifts, on an ongoing basis. Candidates must be able to reliably work these required shifts as part of the regular schedule expectations for the role. Availability for these shifts is a condition of employment for this position. This availability is also an essential function of the role.

Preferred:

Physical & Environmental Demands:

• Able to distinguish colors and see both up close and at a distance
• Able to lift, carry, and manage props or small performance equipment up to 50 pounds as needed
• Able to use clear speech and strong vocal projection to engage audiences in a lively and potentially noisy environment
• Able to use manual dexterity, including fine and gross motor skills, along with hand-eye coordination for sleight-of-hand tricks, card manipulations, and handling small props
• Must be able to walk at least 10,000 steps per shift, including stairs, inclines, and declines
• Able to pivot, transition between seated and standing positions, kneel, stoop, and lift throughout shifts
• Able to stand for extended periods and walk briskly throughout the shift
• Able to work in confined spaces
• Able to multitask and work efficiently with speed, accuracy, and composure in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and entertainment venue under pressure
