Job summary

CAMP in Los Angeles is seeking a energetic Mascot & Guest Experience Host to blend full-costume mascot performance with immersive storytelling and in-store sales. You will greet guests, lead interactive play, guide personal shopping, and help create magical moments for every family.

This part-time, non-exempt role requires ability to wear a full mascot costume, stand for long shifts, and engage guests of all ages.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Local to the store area.
Able to wear a full-body mascot costume.

Responsibilities

Mascot Performance: suit up and bring CAMP characters to life during meet-and-greets and events.
Deliver Performance: learn, memorize and deliver scripted dialogue and improvise within the experience space.
Facilitate Play: lead guided play experiences and crafts with high energy for all ages.
Host & Direct: manage guest flow, lines for meet-and-greets, and ensure mascot safety.
Adapt & Engage: tailor activities to different ages and party sizes.
Drive Sales: meet sales targets and engage families with product offerings.
Magical Service: greet guests with signature experiences and magical entrances.
Personal Shopping: assist at checkout and share info on programs and events.
Build Loyalty: foster a welcoming, repeat-visit culture.
