Job summary

McClatchy Media is seeking a Warehouse Operator in San Antonio, TX to support 5:00 am to 3:30 pm shifts with overtime as needed. You will oversee magazine picking, packing, and shipping using a pick system, while maintaining a clean, safe work area. A background check and drug test are required.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour with potential bonuses after 3 months. The role requires the ability to lift light to moderate loads and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced distribution

Qualifications

• 6 months general warehouse experience preferred.
• May require handling of sophisticated magazines and other sensitive products.

Responsibilities

• Report to work in numbered pick station, as assigned.
• Accurately pick magazines, per perfect-pick system/station indicator lights.
• Place magazines in shipping container, according to numbered shipping label.
• Carry magazines to next assigned shipping container, as required.
• Use retractable safety cutters to cut bundles to access loose magazine inventory.
• Restock pick line, as assigned.
• Keep assigned pick zone clean and organized.
• Work in other departments, as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation
