Job summary

McClatchy Media in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support 100% operations in our shipping and picking process. You will report to a designated pick station and ensure magazines are accurately picked and packed for shipping using our labeled workflow.

The role requires basic warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to perform additional tasks in other departments. A background check and drug test are required before employment.

Qualifications

• 6 months general warehouse experience preferred.
• May require handling of sophisticate magazines and other sensitive products as part of standard business operations.
• Employment contingent on background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Report to work in numbered pick station, as assigned.
• Accurately pick magazines, per perfect-pick system/station indicator lights.
• Place magazines in shipping container, according to numbered shipping label.
• Carry magazines to next assigned shipping container, as required.
• Use retractable safety cutters to cut bundles to access loose magazine inventory.
• Restock pick line, as assigned.
• Keep assigned pick zone clean and organized.
• Work in other departments, as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation
