Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking a warehouse associate to support 100% operations in a distribution environment. You will report to a pick station, accurately select magazines, and place items in shipping containers using station indicators.

The role includes restocking, zone maintenance, and occasional cross-department work. The position requires compliance with safety policies and will involve handling magazines and related products.

Qualifications

• 6 months general warehouse experience preferred.
• May require handling of sophisticate magazines and other sensitive products as part of standard business operations.

• Accurately pick magazines, per perfect-pick system/station indicator lights.
• Place magazines in shipping container, according to numbered shipping label.
• Carry (walk) magazines to next assigned shipping container, as required.
• Use retractable safety cutters to cut bundles to access loose magazine inventory.
• Restock pick line, as assigned.
• Keep assigned pick zone clean and organized.
• Work in other departments, as assigned.
• Meet or exceed company production/accuracy standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies and procedures.
