Job summary

Compass Minerals is seeking a Magnesium Chloride Production Operator to support safe, efficient MgCl2 production and loading operations. You will help meet safety, environmental, engagement, quality, and production goals while working with a team across shifts.

Responsibilities include operating equipment in MgCl2 processing areas, conducting daily samples, maintaining 6S standards, and ensuring inventory accuracy in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and ability to oversee MgCl2 operations.
• Forklift certification required and ability to operate in processing and loading areas.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality with adherence to 6S standards.
• Experience with lab sampling and quality controls is preferred.
• Able to work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate MgCl2 processing and loading areas and ensure product specs.
• Complete daily equipment checks and write work orders.
• Take and deliver lab samples to QC.
• Maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy.
• Conduct monthly safety inspections and safety observations.
• Follow ERP-based work requests and data entry.
