Join to apply for the Mad Science Camp Counselors Needed role at Mad Science Of West New Jersey

As a Mad Scientist, you will inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers through our innovative activities that show kids what science is really all about. We strive to teach kids science in a digestible manner that will stay with them for a lifetime.

You will present hands-on science programs to elementary-aged kids, including launching rockets and performing thrilling experiments. Camp themes include BRIXOLOGY, NASA STEM Explorers, Robots: Paths to Power, Underground Explorers, Chemical Curiosities, and more. We collaborate with Crayola, NASA, and Lego to develop our programs.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Attend orientation and training prior to camp.
• Ensure the safety of kids during camp.
• Engage with kids during activities and experiments to ensure they have fun.
• Lift equipment in kits, which vary in size and weight; your vehicle must accommodate this equipment.
• Drive to and from camp using your own vehicle. Camps are located in Blue Bell, North Wales, Lansdale, Harleysville, Fort Washington, Doylestown, and more.

Schedule and Pay

• You can work half-day or full-day camps; more availability allows for more work. Camps run Monday-Friday.
• Half-day: 9am-12:30pm or 12:30-3:30pm.
• Full-day: 9am-3:30pm.
• Pay is $325/week for half-day camps and $575/week for full-day camps.
