Join to apply for the Mad Science Camp Counselors Needed role at Mad Science Of West New Jersey

As a Mad Scientist, you will inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers through our innovative activities that show kids what science is really all about. We strive to teach kids science in a digestible manner that will stay with them for a lifetime.

You will present hands-on science programs to elementary-aged kids, including launching rockets and performing thrilling experiments. Camp themes include BRIXOLOGY, NASA STEM Explorers, Robots: Paths to Power, Underground Explorers, Chemical Curiosities, and more. We collaborate with Crayola, NASA, and Lego to develop our programs.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Attend orientation and training prior to camp.
  • Ensure the safety of children during camp activities.
  • Engage with children during activities and experiments to ensure they have fun and learn.
  • Lift equipment in kits, which vary in size and weight. Ensure your vehicle can accommodate the equipment.
  • Drive to and from camp locations using your own vehicle. Camps are located in Blue Bell, North Wales, Lansdale, Harleysville, Fort Washington, Doylestown, and more.
Schedule and Pay
  • Work half or full-day camps; more availability means more opportunities.
  • Half-day: 9am-12:30pm or 12:30-3:30pm.
  • Full-day: 9am-3:30pm.
  • Pay: $325/week for half-day, $575/week for full-day camps.
