Job summary

Aquarian Holdings is seeking a Vice President to join its Macro & Market Research team. Reporting to the Head of Macro Research, this individual will be responsible for conducting market and macroeconomic research, analyzing equity and credit market developments, and producing recurring thought leadership pieces on economic and market trends.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in sell-side research or macro/fixed income strategy.
• Strong understanding of fixed income markets and macroeconomic trends.
• Demonstrated experience producing written market research and commentary.
• Ability to analyze economic and market data and form independent conclusions.
• Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel and market data platform proficiency (Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar).
• Bachelor's degree; CFA designation or progress toward CFA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Market & Macro Research: monitor and analyze global macro developments to inform investment teams.
• Thought Leadership: produce recurring market commentary and thematic analyses.
• Investment Team Partnership: support investment teams via data analysis and research.
• Mentor and develop junior analyst.
