Job summary

Polymarket is seeking a Macro Markets Lead to own macroeconomic, financial, and geopolitical markets across Polymarket US (off-chain) and Polymarket International (on-chain). You will manage coverage, liquidity, resolution frameworks, data integrity, and partnerships, blending macro trading instincts with product management precision.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in macro trading or related fields.
• Understanding of liquidity, market microstructure, and forecasting models.
• Ability to spec APIs and interpret economic releases.
• Experience with regulated exchanges or derivatives a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the macro vertical—from CPI prints and Fed decisions to GDP forecasts, labor data, and geopolitical risk events.
• Expand coverage: identify macro releases, financial events, and global catalysts; design pipelines for new macro markets.
• Drive liquidity by collaborating with market makers and trading firms to structure incentives, fees, and quoting standards.
• Build reliable, transparent resolution systems using government data, releases, and automated feeds.
• Integrate data sources with providers and APIs to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Shape partnerships with data firms, economists, and research desks.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance to launch macro features.
• Monitor volume, spreads, participation, and latency and optimize them.
