Job summary

The Hartford is seeking an IT Engineer to help modernize the macOS endpoint estate, JAMF Pro, and endpoint automation across the enterprise. You will advance Declarative Device Management, ADE-based zero-touch provisioning, and cloud-first identity across Windows and macOS environments.

Qualifications

• Experience administering JAMF Pro at enterprise scale.
• Strong macOS internals knowledge: MDM/DDM, configuration profiles, FileVault, Keychain.
• Experience with zero-touch provisioning and endpoint lifecycle automation.
• Scripting and automation using bash/zsh, Python, or similar.
• Cloud identity familiarity: Microsoft Entra, Azure, Conditional Access, password-less concepts.
• Experience with Agile delivery frameworks and endpoint security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support JAMF Pro services in cloud-managed environments.
• Develop zero-touch provisioning using ADE and Apple Business Manager.
• Automate device builds, patching, software deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Implement endpoint monitoring, logging, alerting, and compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with security teams on CIS benchmarks and encryption controls.
• Mentor engineers on JAMF, macOS, and automation best practices.
• Develop APIs and integrations between JAMF, ServiceNow, Microsoft Entra, and other systems.
