Job summary

ThreatLocker is hiring a macOS Developer in Orlando, FL to build and maintain macOS components of the ThreatLocker endpoint security platform. You will implement secure system-level software, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce zero-trust and privilege controls.

You will work on Endpoint Security, Network Extension, and System Extensions, delivering enterprise-grade solutions with a security-first mindset in an in-office role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional macOS software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
• Experience developing macOS applications, agents, services, or endpoint software.
• Experience with APIs, local storage, logging, and secure client-server communication.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex macOS issues with permissions, networking, and deployments.
• Strong secure coding practices.
• Write clean, production-quality code.
• Experience using Git or similar SCMs.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ThreatLocker’s macOS endpoint agent and components.
• Develop secure macOS services, background processes, System Extensions, Network Extensions, XPC Services, and LaunchDaemons.
• Integrate macOS functionality with the policy engine, management portal, and cloud platform.
• Implement real-time policy enforcement for apps, files, storage, network activity, and elevation.
• Leverage Apple security tech including Endpoint Security Framework and Network Extension.
• Build UI using AppKit and SwiftUI.
• Optimize performance, reliability, scalability, and security across macOS versions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues involving permissions, security frameworks, and deployments.
• Research new macOS features and OS updates to maintain compatibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features.
