Job summary

State Farm is hiring an Infrastructure Security Analyst to join the macOS Security team. You will strengthen endpoint security, modernize device management, and develop automated solutions that improve safety and reliability for enterprise macOS devices.

The role requires hands-on experience with macOS security, endpoint protection, scripting, and collaborating across engineering, security, and IT teams to deliver sustainable security solutions while balancing usability for employees.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience configuring and securing macOS and enterprise OS.
• Experience with endpoint security controls and remediation.
• Experience with scripting in Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; ability to identify root causes.
• Understanding of security fundamentals, including system hardening and access management.
• Ability to communicate problems and solutions across technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and strengthen endpoint security across enterprise macOS devices.
• Modernize device management using Jamf Pro, Intune, Entra ID.
• Protect against threats by supporting Defender for Endpoint and remediation.
• Automate and develop scripts to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Investigate issues involving macOS, security apps, network connectivity, and authentication.
• Advance identity and access security with certificate-based authentication and PAM.
• Deliver an exceptional Mac experience balancing security and usability.
• Collaborate across engineering, infrastructure, security, and technology teams for sustainable solutions.
