Job summary

Научсофт приглашает опытного разработчика macOS для работы над крупной кодовой базой. Вы будете анализировать задачи, устранять дефекты и внедрять улучшения преимущественно на Objective-C и modern C++, совершенствуя переработку в среде AppKit/Cocoa.

Требуется сильный опыт в Core Data и многопоточности, знание GCD и отладки. Роль включает участие в обзорах кода, работу с несколькими фреймворками и тесное взаимодействие с командой заказчика.

Qualifications

• 5+ лет промышленной разработки на Objective-C для macOS
• Непрерывная работа с AppKit и Cocoa

Responsibilities

• Анализировать задачи разработки и дефекты в крупном macOS кодовой базе
• Предлагать технические решения на основе анализа существующей реализации
• Реализовывать, тестировать и доставлять исправления и улучшения
• Разрабатывать в основном на Objective-C и современном C++, при необходимости — Swift
• Работать с архитектурой macOS-приложений (AppKit/Cocoa)
• Разрабатывать и поддерживать функциональность с Core Data
• Работать с многопоточностью и GCD
• Настраивать отладку и профилирование для диагностики сложного поведения
• Добавлять и поддерживать модульные и приёмочные тесты
• Участвовать в обзоре кода
• Работать с несколькими фреймворками внутри большого Xcode workspace
• Использовать AI-агентов для анализа, тестирования и рефакторинга
• Критически оценивать AI-генерированный код и предложения без верификации
• Доставлять полностью протестированные изменения без видимого надзора

Задачи:

• Independently pick up and analyze development tickets
• Investigate defects and technical issues in a large, mature macOS codebase
• Propose technical solutions based on analysis of the existing implementation
• Implement, test, and deliver fixes and product enhancements
• Develop primarily in Objective-C and modern C++, using Swift where appropriate
• Work with AppKit/Cocoa and macOS-specific application architecture
• Develop and maintain functionality using Core Data
• Work with multithreading and concurrency using Grand Central Dispatch and related technologies
• Investigate and resolve memory-management, stability, and performance issues
• Use debugging and profiling tools to diagnose complex application behavior
• Add and maintain unit and acceptance tests
• Participate actively in code reviews
• Work across multiple frameworks and modules within a large Xcode workspace
• Use AI coding agents for investigation, testing, refactoring, and development support
• Critically review, validate, and improve AI-generated solutions before integrating them into the production codebase
• Deliver complete, tested, and review-ready changes with limited day-to-day supervision
• Collaborate with other macOS developers and participate in technical discussions with the customer team

• 5+ Years of production Objective-C development for macOS
• Strong hands-on experience with AppKit and Cocoa
• Proven experience developing and maintaining complex production macOS applications
• Strong practical knowledge of modern C++ (C++17 or later)
• Ability to work confidently across Objective-C and C++ code
• Experience working with large, mature, long-lived codebases
• Experience with multi-framework Xcode workspaces
• Strong knowledge of Core Data
• Strong understanding of Grand Central Dispatch, multithreading, and concurrency
• Strong understanding of memory management in macOS applications
• Practical experience with debugging and performance profiling
• Ability to investigate technical problems independently and identify root causes
• Ability to propose and implement technically sound solutions with minimal supervision
• Experience delivering tested, production-ready, review-ready code
• Practical experience using AI coding agents as part of daily software development
• Ability to critically assess AI-generated code and technical suggestions rather than using them without validation
• Experience participating in code reviews
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• English level B2/C1
