Job summary

Научсофт в США ищет специалиста по тестовой автоматизации с опытом работы не менее 6 лет. В должность входит развитие фреймворков, расширение покрытия тестами и интеграция тестов в CI/CD. Требуется глубокое знание C++, Python и инструментов тестирования, а также умение работать с данными и AI-пайплайнами.

Кандидат будет преобразовывать ручные тесты в автоматические, участвовать в исследовании дефектов и сотрудничать с заказчиками для повышения качества продукта. Уровень английского не ниже B2+.

Qualifications

• Опыт работы в тестовой автоматизации не менее 6 лет.
• Разработка и поддержка автоматизированных тестов на C++ и Python.
• Опыт работы с фреймворками тестирования (GTest/Catch2).
• Знание CMake/CTest и CI/CD пайплайнов.
• Глубокое понимание архитектуры настольных приложений.
• Опыт создания и поддержки сценариев тестирования и регрессионных тестов.
• Навыки анализа логов и корневого анализа дефектов.
• Уровень английского не ниже B2+.

Responsibilities

• Разрабатывать, поддерживать и развивать существующий фреймворк автоматизированного тестирования.
• Расширять автоматизированное тестовое покрытие в соответствии с тест-стратегиями и пайплайнами.
• Разрабатывать UAT и E2E автоматизированные тесты, интегрированные в CI/CD.
• Поддерживать внутренние QA-инструменты для упрощения тестирования.
• Преобразовывать существующие ручные тест-кейсы в автоматические.
• Помогать трансформировать тестовую пирамиду к большей автоматизации.
• Разрабатывать и поддерживать автоматические тесты на C++ и Python.
• Работать с Lua-скриптами и префет-данными там, где требуется.
• Разрабатывать регрессионные тесты на основе данных и эталонных артефактов (изображения, EXIF, калибровка).
• Интегрировать автоматические тесты в CI и повышать надёжность выполнения.
• Проводить бенчмаркинг и поддерживать профилирование производительности.
• Проверять поведение AI-процессов, включая качество вывода и поведение системы.
• Изучать проблемы AI-пайплайнов вместе с разработчиками.

Задачи:

• Develop, maintain, and evolve the existing test automation framework
• Extend automated test coverage in line with existing test strategies and image-quality pipelines
• Develop and maintain UAT and E2E automated tests integrated into CI/CD
• Support, improve, and develop internal QA tools that simplify and evolve testing processes
• Convert existing manual test cases into automated tests
• Help transform the testing pyramid toward higher automated coverage and reduced manual regression effort
• Develop and maintain automated tests using C++ and Python
• Work with Lua-based test scenarios and presets where required
• Develop and maintain data-driven and reference-based regression tests using images, EXIF data, calibration data, and other reference artifacts
• Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines and improve test execution reliability
• Perform benchmarking and support performance profiling activities
• Test AI-based image-processing functionality, including output quality and system behavior
• Investigate AI pipeline issues together with developers
• Validate application behavior across different CPU, GPU, and NPU configurations
• Prepare and maintain tests for newly supported camera and lens models
• Verify support for new cameras and imaging hardware across the product
• Analyze requirements, technical documentation, logs, and application behavior
• Investigate complex defects together with developers
• Identify opportunities to improve automation architecture, coverage, reliability, and maintainability
• Participate in technical discussions directly with customer representatives

Требования:

• More than 6 years of professional experience in Test Automation / AQA
• Strong development-oriented mindset and good understanding of software engineering principles
• Strong practical experience with C++ and/or Python for test automation
• Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks
• Experience with C++ testing frameworks such as GTest or Catch2
• Experience with CMake / CTest
• Practical experience with Python unittest or similar testing frameworks
• Strong experience testing desktop applications
• Good understanding of desktop application architecture
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test scenarios
• Experience with functional, regression, UAT, and end-to-end automation
• Experience with data-driven testing
• Experience with reference-based regression testing or validation against predefined expected results
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to analyze logs, investigate failures, and perform root-cause analysis
• Ability to quickly understand complex technical documentation and internal engineering processes
• Willingness and ability to understand the specifics of supporting new camera and lens models
• Strong practical experience using AI assistants such as Claude in daily engineering activities
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with customer stakeholders
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset
• English level B2+
