ARCH Medical Solutions is seeking a skilled Machinist Wire/EDM to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate EDM equipment to produce precise medical device components, reading blueprints and applying GD&T to ensure tight tolerances.

You will verify quality with precision instruments, conduct inspections, and support continuous improvement while maintaining a safe, organized work environment on a day-one benefits plan.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate EDM equipment with wires and tooling.

ARCH Medical Solutions is seeking a skilled Machinist Wire/EDM to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment to produce highly precise components used in the medical device industry. If you enjoy problem-solving, precision machining, working with advanced technology, and making parts that impact patient care, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Machinist EDM, you will:

• Set up and operate EDM equipment, tooling, fixtures, electrodes, and wire systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure parts meet dimensional requirements.
• Verify product quality using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and indicators.
• Perform program verification and machine setup activities.
• Monitor and adjust burn parameters, flushing systems, and dielectric fluid conditions.
• Control surface finishes and dimensional accuracy to meet customer specifications.
• Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Troubleshoot dimensional issues and support corrective actions.
• Complete required production, quality, and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Identify nonconforming conditions and elevate concerns appropriately.
• Support preventive maintenance activities on assigned equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment using 5S principles.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet customer expectations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating EDM equipment, CNC machining equipment, or other precision manufacturing equipment.
• Understanding of GD&T and precision measurement techniques.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other inspection tools.
• Experience in medical device, aerospace, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience troubleshooting dimensional or process-related issues.
