Empire Southwest is seeking an experienced machinist to perform rebuilds and repairs, including welding reconstruction and machining of worn parts. You will set up machines, run jobs, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances while maintaining safe, orderly work areas.

Responsibilities include preparing service reports, planning repair costs, and complying with safety policies. The role may require travel to remote locations and overtime as needed, with a focus on quality and reliability.

Competenze

• Minimum 6 months related experience.
• Must communicate in English.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Driver's license required.

Mansioni

• Set up machines and run machining jobs.
• Perform reboring, rebuilding, resurfacing, magnafluxing and grinding.
• Weld structural components as needed.
• Prepare service reports and travel to remote locations.
• Plan and control cost of repair jobs.
• Maintain equipment and clean work area.
