Job summary

FM Industries in Livermore, CA seeks a Machinist, Vertical Mill for the day shift. You will set up and run the most complex parts with little supervision, read blueprints and tooling instructions, and program, set up, and run all facets of work assigned.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 5–7 years of related experience, and extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, inspection practices, CNC programming and G&M code, plus probe and presetter knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run the most complex parts with minimal supervision.

• Program, set up, and run all assigned work.
• Develop fixtures as needed.
• Assist in creating a set-up book for production.
