Job summary

Snelling Staffing is hiring 6 Machinists for a plant in Mansfield, OH. Training on first shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM for one month, then begin third shift from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Pay is $24.95 per hour with weekly pay.

Under minimal supervision, machinists use manual machines to make parts to prints, perform preventive maintenance on machines and cranes, and participate in quality and productivity improvement initiatives. Reading engineering drawings is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual machining on lathes and mills.
• Proficient use of measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and manufacture parts to print.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines as directed.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks.
• Ensure all measuring devices are current calibration.
• Use cranes and lifting devices safely.
