Job summary

Perfection Chain Products, a long-standing manufacturer in Cullman, Alabama, seeks a Machinist/Tool Maker. Starting pay is $20 per hour (experience dependent) with full benefits.

The role is full-time, on-site at the Cullman facility, Monday–Friday, with duties in tooling, die operations, and process improvements. Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude and experience in metal stamping, with knowledge of metal properties.

Qualifications

• Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with traditional metal manufacturing concepts.
• Tool and Die experience is a huge plus.
• Basic knowledge of metals properties (steel, brass, aluminum).

Responsibilities

• Develop and create process improvements for new and existing machinery.
• Assist with tool and die operations and die maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems and sharpen punches.
• Stand/walk for most shifts in a warehouse environment.

Perfection Chain Products has an opportunity available forMachinist/Tool Maker! This position will start at$20 an hour(depending on experience) and is eligible for our fullbenefitspackage. The Workweek for this positionFull-Time, (40 hours per week)Monday – Fridayfrom. This position will work on-site at our facility inCullman, Alabama. This position is ideal for a person who is interested in fabricating tooling and parts for older machinery, reverse engineering, and problem solving!

Starting pay:$20 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

This position will assist with developing and creating process improvements for new and existing machinery, assist with our tool and die operations, troubleshoot mechanical problems, and sharpen/maintain punch press dies.

This position works in a warehouse environment and will be standing/walking during most shifts. The material handler should expect to be on their feet during most of the shift.

Who we are seeking in an applicant:

This position requires a person with excellent mechanical aptitude, we are seeking an individual who is familiar with traditional metal manufacturing concepts. Additional qualifications include:

• Mechanical process experience including metal stamping.
• Basic knowledge of chemical and physical properties of metals (steel, brass, aluminum).
• Basic knowledge of lubricants used in metal forming and punching.
• Tool and Die experience is a huge plus!
