Job summary

A leading manufacturer of wire products is seeking a manual wire form operator for their facility in Cullman, Alabama. This full-time position offers competitive, negotiable hourly rates and a full benefits package. Responsibilities include operating machinery, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring product quality. Ideal candidates will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in a similar role. The position requires standing for most shifts and offers two shifts: 1st Shift from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 2nd Shift from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate machinery for precision wire forming.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings to determine machining operations.
• Use measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Monitoring machine operations and adjusting as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes.
• Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Overview

Perfection Chain Products has an opportunity available for a manual wire form operator. This position's hourly rate is negotiable, depending on experience, and is eligible for our full benefits package. The workweek is full-time (40 hours per week with overtime opportunities), Monday – Friday, with two different shifts available. This position will work on-site at our facility in Cullman, Alabama.

Available shifts

• 1st Shift, Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (OT available before shift and occasional weekends)
• 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (OT available after shift and occasional weekends)

This position works in a warehouse environment and will be standing/walking during most shifts. The operator should expect to be on their feet during most of the shift.
