Job summary

Lincoln Electric in Michigan is seeking a Machinist to set up and operate standard machine shop equipment, read blueprints and customer specifications, and ensure parts meet exact tolerances.

The ideal candidate will have 0–1 year of machinist experience, be able to operate a forklift, and demonstrate a commitment to company values while maintaining a safe, efficient workspace.

• Assemble, inspect and load test parts and tools/fixtures.
• Efficiently plan and program machining operations.
• Read and understand blueprints, customer specifications, and internal documentation.
• Keep area clean and neat.
• Comply with all safety standards.
• Effectively communicate with Machine Shop Manager to ensure completion dates are met.
• Work well with Manufacturing and Management personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
