Job summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a skilled machinist to machine, inspect, and assemble parts in a high-precision shop. The role requires reading blueprints and customer specifications, setting up equipment, and meeting delivery targets while maintaining quality standards.

You will participate in safety procedures, collaborate with manufacturing teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position is on-site in a machine shop environment with standard metalworking duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of machinist experience preferred.
• Operate forklift as part of daily tasks.

• Set up and operate most standard machine shop equipment.
• Machine various details to print.
• Read and understand blueprints, customer specifications and internal documentation.
• Some assembly of fixtures with Machinist assistance.
• Responsible for job targets/delivery.
• Inspect parts to assure conformance to specification.
• Assemble, inspect and load test parts and tools/fixtures.
• Efficiently plan and program machining operations.
• Keep area clean and neat.
• Comply with all safety standards.
• Effectively communicate with Machine Shop Manager to ensure completion dates are met.
• Work well with Manufacturing and Management personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
