Under the guidance of a Manufacturing Team Leader, interns will complete a program focused on CNC machines over approximately 6 months, with the potential for permanent full-time employment as a Machinist Technician after 2 years of successful training.
The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift and handle weights safely. U.S. Citizenship is required for eligibility for security clearance.

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for Machinist Technician Interns to join our team.
Under supervision of the Manufacturing Team Leader/Mentor, the Intern will complete the CNC Machine Operator program within 4-6 months of start date. The Machinist Technician Internship program focuses on familiarization with machines/processes including gaging and controller operation, deburr/part finishing, and basic blue-print reading.
After a successful internship of roughly 6 months, the intern will meet eligibility to be considered for permanent full-time employment as a Machinist Technician. The training after 6 months will be focused on CNC lathes, CNC mills, changeovers and setups, and advanced machining.
The machinist technician period will last for approximately 2 years. After successful completion, the candidate will be promoted to a CNC Machinist position.
