Job summary

Molex in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a Machinist Technician to operate manual grinders, mills and lathes, building spare parts from prints and assisting toolmakers. The role offers training in die changeover, debug and maintenance, plus opportunities to advance to a Tool and Die Maker.

Second shift with a 15% differential and third shift with 25% differential provided; 50-lb lifting requirement and strong emphasis on safety. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience operating manual lathes and mills and interpreting blueprints.
  • Experience in a tool room or manufacturing environment (internship experience preferred).
  • Will not qualify for VISA sponsorship.

  • Support and drive 6S efforts across the unit.

  • Comply with all safety requirements and procedures.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds.

Your Job

Molex in Lincoln, Nebraska is adding Machinists to their team! As a Machinist Technician at Molex, you will use your manual machining skills running grinders, mills, and lathes with the potential to become a Tool and Die Maker. Training includes die changeovers, debug and maintenance of dies. This position comes with a 5k sign on bonus!

Shifts available

2nd shift- Monday through Friday with a flexible start time. 15% shift differential.

3rd shift- Sunday through Thursday with a flexible start time. 25% shift differential.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Technical degree in Machine Tool or related field
