Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator II to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to form and shape metal components for our racking systems. This is a hands-on position that requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and attendance.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines according to production specifications and blueprints
• Perform accurate measurements using a tape measure and other precision tools (e.g., calipers, gauges, protractors)
• Read and interpret technical drawings and job orders
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
• Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to ensure product consistency
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors
• Follow safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets
  
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating a press brake or similar metal-forming machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using a tape measure and other related hand tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Excellent attendance record – reliable, consistent attendance is essential for success in this role
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent required
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication or warehouse racking manufacturing
• Forklift certification a plus
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
