Role And Responsibilities

  • Must be able to work at fast pace, follow instructions and be self-motivated
  • Requires excellent math skills including fractions, and geometry
  • Requires ability to read a tape measure, calipers and other tools
  • Requires ability to read blueprints and calculate bend allowances
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must work well with others
  • Be able to lift up to 40-50 lbs routinely, and occasionally up to 90 lbs.
  • Ability to Stand for 10 hours
  • Ensure and verify material
  • Provide immediate feedback when problems occur
  • Ability to work OT with little notice when required.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

  • A technical degree is preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Must be willing to assist in other areas when needed
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check & amp; a fit for duty physical assessment.
  • Ability to read and accurately use measuring tools.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints.
