Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical diploma preferred.
• 1–3+ years of manual machining experience.
• Experience with precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance per guidelines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Industrial shop environment with exposure to noise and fluids.
• Must be able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform basic computer tasks.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, erect, install, and maintain shop machinery.
• Measure dimensions and tolerance using precision tools.
• Align and secure fixtures, tools, and materials on machines.
• Monitor machine feed and speed during machining.
• Machine parts to spec using lathes, mills, grinders.
• Inspect finished units with precision instruments.
• Set controls or input commands for CNC/MC operations.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay current with technologies.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and ensure safety.
