Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of machinist experience in manufacturing.
• Operational proficiency in CNC machining.
• Knowledge of CNC G-code programming and machine operations.
• 3+ years tooling, fixtures, machine setup, and process optimization.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
• Working knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
• Commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Machine precision components that meet nuclear quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Operate a variety of metal-removing and metal-forming machines within the department.
• Set up machine tools, components, and castings per drawings and specs.
• Read and interpret drawings, sketches, blueprints and instructions (PP-09-01).
• Use measuring instruments, fixtures, jigs, tooling; fabricate tooling.
• Perform in-process inspections and verify dimensions.
• Troubleshoot machining operations and make limited program modifications when qualified.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace per 5S and safety rules.
