Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking an experienced Machinist for a weekend night shift in Carlisle. You will operate band saws, plasma torches and related equipment, following blueprints and safety standards to produce quality parts.

The role requires 3+ years machining, forklift certification, and the ability to work 6pm-6am Friday through Sunday, outdoors in all weather. Steel-toed boots and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of machining experience.
• Steel-toed boots with metatarsal protection.
• Current forklift certification (min 1 year).
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts in potentially outdoor conditions.

Weekends Machinist / Parts Processor

Our client is looking for an experienced Machinist. This position is located in Carlisle.

Starting Pay: $20.00-22.00 + Shift Differential

Hours: 6pm-6am (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)

Duties:

• Operate all manufacturing equipment including band saws, iron workers, and plasma torches.
• Ensure products are manufactured to quality and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and material dimensions.
• Read and interpret symbols and materials needed for manufacture.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with relevant machining.
• Steel toed boots/shoes with metatarsal cover.
• Current Forklift Certification (min of 1 year exp)
• High School diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic mathematics knowledge and understanding of angles.
• Knowledge of and previous experience with all cutting types (Band saw, torch, plasma, and shear).
• Basic Brake Press knowledge.
• Ability to stand and walk for an 8-10 our shift.
• Position could involve working outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat or cold.
