Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking an experienced Machinist for our Carlisle client. You will operate all essential machining equipment, read blueprints, and ensure products meet quality standards.

Starting pay is $20.00-22.00 per hour. Hours are 6:30am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential outdoor work in various weather conditions. High attention to detail and 3+ years of machining experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of machining experience.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred/required.
• Ability to read blueprints and dimensions accurately.
• Knowledge of cutting types including band saw, plasma torch, and shear.

1st Shift Machinist / Parts Processor

Our client is looking for an experienced Machinist. This position is located in Carlisle.

Starting Pay:$20.00-22.00

Hours: 6:30am-4:30pm (Monday – Friday)

Duties:

• Operate all manufacturing equipment including band saws, iron workers, and plasma torches.
• Ensure products are manufactured to quality and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and material dimensions.
• Read and interpret symbols and materials needed for manufacture.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with relevant machining.
• Steel toed boots/shoes with metatarsal cover.
• Current Forklift Certification (min of 1 year exp)
• High School diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic mathematics knowledge and understanding of angles.
• Knowledge of and previous experience with all cutting types (Band saw, torch, plasma, and shear).
• Basic Brake Press knowledge.
• Ability to stand and walk for an 8-10 our shift.
• Position could involve working outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat or cold.
