Machinist (Multiple Openings) – 2nd Shift Available

Earn an additional 15% shift differential for evening shifts!

Summary

The Machinist will perform alteration tasks on aviation articles according to technical data, including manufacturer instructions, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and approved standards. The role also involves developing, duplicating, and manufacturing tooling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, hones) to produce parts to specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Prioritize repairs to meet delivery deadlines.
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC and honing equipment.
• Keep up-to-date with tools and equipment use.
• Document maintenance and repair records.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to meet aerospace standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of relevant technical work experience.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads.
• Maintain an organized and productive workspace.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high quality standards.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word).

Preferred Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience.
• 1 year of machinist experience.
