Summary: The Machinist will perform alteration tasks on aviation articles in accordance with current technical data, including manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other FAA-approved data. Additionally, the machinist will develop, duplicate, and manufacture tooling as required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills, lathes, or hones, to produce parts to required specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Prioritize components for repairs to ensure on-time delivery.
• Perform quality checks on parts using precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC and honing machining equipment.
• Ensure up-to-date knowledge of tools and proper use of equipment within your responsibility area.
• Document maintenance records of all repair work orders.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to meet aerospace standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of relevant technical work experience.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and priorities.
• Maintain an organized and productive work environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word).

Preferred Requirements:

• 5+ years of work experience.
• 1 year of machinist experience.

• Background check and drug testing required for the selected candidate.
